This region was one of the earliest colonial settlements in Australia, and many of the buildings since those days have survived in the region creating a “time capsule” of Australian colonial history.

This hospital is a 125-bed facility with a 24-hour emergency department. It provides medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.

All bookings for locums are made pending completion of all mandatory compliance requirements. Any mandatory compliance components that are not finalised in time for onboarding to be completed ahead of the first shift at Hawkesbury will lead to the cancellation of any bookings.
